As a teenager I worked door-to-door selling anything and everything, and no matter the extremities of the weather, a UK winter could not deter me from hitting my targets. Eventually, I found myself working in advertising, which sounds very professional but the reality was a hardcore sales boiler-room working with unscrupulous characters who’d sell their own Grandmother if they could.
It was in these early days that taught me how to sell, in order to survive, growing more and more confident each day.
